Tajikistan boosts industrial output 13.7% in 9M

DUSHANBE. Oct 20 (Interfax) - Industrial output in Tajikistan rose 13.7% year-on-year in January-September 2026 to 53.2 billion somoni, the country's Statistics Agency said.

Manufacturing output grew 21.5%, energy utilities 17.5% and water utilities 14.4%.

The Sughd region accounted for 58.9% of Tajikistan's industrial output, Khatlon region for 20.2% and Dushanbe for 11%. Output in the Sughd region grew 8%, in Khatlon region it rose 15.5% and in Dushanbe 25.5%.

As of October 1, more than 4,000 industrial enterprises were registered in Tajikistan, employing over 89,000 people.

Industrial output in Tajikistan rose 22.1% in 2025.
