Turnover of agricultural products in EAEU up 20% in 2025, growth rates maintained in 2026 - Russian Agriculture Ministry
MOSCOW. Oct 8 (Interfax) - Turnover of agricultural products in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) grew 20% in 2025 to $18 billion, and growth rates are being maintained in 2026, Russian Deputy Agriculture Minister Maxim Markovich said at a session held as part of the Golden Autumn 2026 exhibition in Moscow on Thursday.
"Turnover of agricultural products and food within the union amounted to $18 billion, an increase of 20%," he said.
At the same time, Markovich noted that turnover is balanced. "We complement each other," he said. "In 2025, our exports and imports amounted to $9 billion each," he said. "As for this year, if we look from January to July of the current year, we also observe growth in turnover of approximately 20%," he said.
