Beltamozhservice launching shipping service to Indonesia via Vladivostok port
MINSK. Oct 7 (Interfax) - Belarus's largest logistics operator, Beltamozhservice has started offering a service to ship freight from Belarus to Indonesia through the Port of Vladivostok in the Russian Far East.
"The comprehensive door-to-door service is built on the multimodal model: dispatch of truck for loading, railway delivery to the Port of Vladivostok and marine delivery to the Port of Jakarta" in Indonesia, the company said in a press release on Tuesday.
The service goes both ways, facilitating shipment of Belarusian goods to Indonesia and imports of Indonesian products into Belarus, with delivery in upward of 30 days. The service includes insurance, document support and end-to-end freight tracking.
Beltamozhservice, which was founded by the State Customs Committee of Belarus, is the national logistics operator and a major exporter of goods from Belarusian manufacturers. The company actively uses Russian ports in its multimodal logistics.
