Japan adds 33 organizations, 9 individuals to its sanctions lists regarding Russia

TOKYO. Oct 2 (Interfax) - The Japanese authorities have added another 33 legal entities and nine individuals to their anti-Russian sanctions lists, the Japanese Finance Ministry said in a press release.

According to the ministry, the restrictions provide for freezing assets, restrictions on capital transactions and the provision of services, and a ban on the supply of goods that contribute to the development of Russian industry. The government also bans the provision of services to 35 vessels which are, according to Tokyo, linked to Russia.

In particular, the sanctions lists include Uraldronzavod LLC, Tulamashzavod, JSC Kolomna Locomotive Works, JSC NPP Iskra Plant, the Kaluga Scientific Research Radio Engineering Institute, JSC Precision Instrument Systems Research and Production Corporation, JSC VNIIR-Progress, and Kamensky Machine-Building Plant. In addition, the sanctions affected TSK Vector, Alabuga Development LLC and Alabuga Machinery LLC, JSC Aeroelectromash, PJSC Motovilikha Plants, JSC Voentorg, Leninets Central Scientific and Production Association, JSC 53 Arsenal, JSC Voskresensky Aggregate Plant, JSC Industrial Technologies, JSC Novo-Vyatka, JSC Asteys, PJSC Morion and Trimix LLC.

In addition, the list was supplemented with a Turkish company, Solid Tarim Inovasyon Anonim Sirketi, as well as three from the UAE - Amegino FZE, Auto Parts East FZCO and MOTO Export DWC LLC.
