Serbia pursues restrained policy, seeks cooperation with Russia - Putin
MOSCOW. Oct 1 (Interfax) - Russia will reciprocate the Serbian leadership's desire for cooperation, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"Serbia's current leadership, and Aleksandar Vucic, who was recently president and will, I hope, be prime minister in the future, pursues a restrained policy and shows a desire to cooperate with Russia. We certainly welcome this and will respond in kind," Putin said at a plenary meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club.
When asked whether Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky's recent visit to Belgrade had disconcerted him, Putin said, "Young women get disconcerted by things, we don't, we are engaged in politics."
