Russia extends diesel export ban for producers to Oct 31

MOSCOW. Sept 30 (Interfax) - The Russian government has extended the ban on exports of diesel fuel, ship fuel and gasoil for producers, which was set to expire today, until October 31, the government's press service reported, citing a signed resolution.

"The decision was made to maintain a stable situation on the domestic fuel market, including amid heightened demand for motor fuel during the harvest," the press release said.

The diesel export ban for non-producers is in effect until January 31, 2027. Russia has also banned exports of jet fuel until November 30, and completely banned gasoline exports until January 31, 2027.
