EU envoys agree to renew sanctions against Russia - media

BRUSSELS. Sept 22 (Interfax) - EU ambassadors agreed on Tuesday to extend sanctions on approximately 3,000 individuals and legal entities in Russia for three years, the Czech television channel CT24 reported, citing sources.

The envoys also reached a consensus on removing businessmen Mikhail Fridman and Alisher Usmanov from the sanctions list, the sources said.

There has been no official confirmation of this information so far.
