Russia's Auchan to fully continue commercial activity after transition to temporary management

MOSCOW. Sept 22 (Interfax) - Auchan Retail Russia will fully continue its commercial activity after the transition to the temporary management of the company JSC L.E.V. Management, the retailer said in a statement published on social media on Monday evening.

Auchan Retail Russia also gave assurances of its intentions to unconditionally fulfill all obligations to clients, partners and the workforce.

In the company's opinion, interaction with the temporary management team will contribute to the company's development and improve the efficiency of its work.

On September 17, a decree was published according to which the Russian assets of a whole series of large companies in various industries were transferred to the previously little-known company JSC L.E.V. Management, whose owners are not disclosed. Along with the Russian assets of Auchan, this concerns Lemana PRO and the Russian assets of Nestle, FM Logistics and Bati Logistics.
