United Russia gets 355 State Duma seats, CPRF 40, Liberal Democratic Party 25, New People 20 - Russian CEC chair

MOSCOW. Sept 21 (Interfax) - United Russia will get 355 State Duma seats, while 40 seats will go to the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) and 25 to the Liberal Democratic Party (LDPR), Russian Central Elections Commission (CEC) chair Ella Pamfilova said, citing preliminary information.

"We have 450 seats in the State Duma, half of them representing parties and half won in single-member constituencies. As we can see, United Russia will get 355 seats, the CPRF - 40, the LDPR - 25, and New People - 20," she said.

"A Just Russia is on the verge. It has four so far, but once again, there is a chance that it passes the 5% threshold, judging by what we know, and the distribution of seats might obviously change in that case. Please note this is the preliminary distribution of seats," she said.

Besides, according to the preliminary information, Rodina gets one seat, and self-nominees get four, Pamfilova said.
