Russia's grain harvest now at 120 mln tonnes, including more than 90 mln tonnes of wheat - agriculture minister

MOSCOW. Sept 18 (Interfax) - Russia has now harvested 120 million tonnes of grain, Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut told journalists.

"We have already harvested 120 million tonnes of grain, of which more than 90 million tonnes is wheat; for wheat, we have 8% of the harvest remaining," Lut said, noting that there are no problems with providing farmers with fuel.

"We are resolving the difficulties with fuel and lubricants, the issue is under special control. We are not experiencing any particular disruptions here," she said.

Lut said that the southern regions have begun harvesting corn, which will add to the total grain volume.

"We are making good progress with sowing winter crops. Nearly 6 million hectares have already been planted. Our target for this year is over 19 million hectares," she said.

Russia harvested 141.2 million tonnes of grain in 2025, including 91.1 million tonnes of wheat.
