Russia secures right to export mustard powder, mustard to China - Rosselkhoznadzor

MOSCOW. Sept 17 (Interfax) - China has approved Russian producers of mustard powder and prepared mustard to export their products to China, Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) said in a statement.

Russia's plant and animal health watchdog said that the Chinese side has informed Rosselkhoznadzor that these shipments are now permitted. Russian enterprises must submit an application for registration in the China Import Food Enterprise Registration (CIFER) system in order to proceed.

A Russian enterprise will be assigned a Chinese registration number, enabling it to export mustard powder and prepared mustard to the Chinese market, once the registration process is complete, according to the statement.
