Russia-China trade exceeding $200 bln for 3 years in row despite external pressure - Russian deputy FM

MOSCOW. Sept 10 (Interfax) - Russia-China trade has been sustainably growing despite external pressure, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko said.

"Bilateral trade has been exceeding $200 billion for three consecutive years in spite of external pressure," Rudenko said at the Seventh Russian-Chinese SME Forum.

"In the first half of 2026, [...] we returned to the path of sustainable growth and are expecting a new record to be set this year," he said.

Russia and China are developing energy cooperation, trade in agricultural products and food, and bilateral investments, Rudenko said. Cultural and humanitarian exchanges are also soaring he said.
