EuroTrans board chairman Martyshov arrested in fuel theft case

MOSCOW. Sept 8 (Interfax) - The Moscow Meshchansky Court has placed the chairman of the board of directors of PJSC EuroTrans , Igor Martyshov, under arrest in a case into theft of fuel belonging to the Moscow region police headquarters, Interfax was told by law enforcement agencies.

"The court granted the investigator's request to impose a preventive measure against Igor Martyshov in the form of detention until November 6," Interfax's source said.

Three of the company's senior managers were also previously arrested in the case, as was the deputy head of the Internal Affairs Ministry's Main Department for the Moscow Region and head of logistics, Internal Service Major General Sergei Malkov, the head of the Center for Economic and Service Support (CESSS) of the Internal Affairs Ministry's Main Department for the Moscow Region, Colonel Alexei Suyarov, and the head of the department of the CESSS of the Moscow region headquarters, Lieutenant Colonel Anna Levina.

The Internal Affairs Ministry's official representative, Irina Volk, said that all three employees have been dismissed from the internal affairs bodies.
