Golden Asset Group plans to invest 55 bln rubles in projects in Kamchatka, 24 bln rubles in Yakutia

VLADIVOSTOK. Sept 2 (Interfax) - Companies of Golden Asset Group have signed a number of agreements with the Far East Development Corporation (FEDC) and regional authorities at the 2026 Eastern Economic Forum on implementing gold mining projects.

The first agreement provides for the construction of the third stage of a gold recovery plant at the Ozernovskoye gold ore deposit in Kamchatka (the deposit operator is SiGMA). The planned level of capital investment is 36.6 billion rubles, an Interfax correspondent reported from the signing ceremony. The processing capacity will be 1.5 million tonnes of ore per year. The facility is currently at the design stage.

The second agreement concerns the construction of a mine at the Kangalatvayam site, also in Kamchatka. The mine's capacity will be 250,000 tonnes of ore per year. Investment in this project is 18.1 billion rubles. The company is currently at the pre-design stage.

Under an agreement with Yakutia, Golden Asset plans to build a mine and a gold recovery plant at the Delyankirskaya area with a capacity of 600,000 tonnes of ore per year. According to FEDC materials, capital investment will be 24.3 billion rubles. This initiative is also at the pre-design stage.

Golden Asset is a group of companies with gold ore and placer assets in the Far East. According to estimates, it is among the top 20-25 gold miners in Russia by production level.
