Ozon launches sales on Mongolian market

VLADIVOSTOK. Sept 1 (Interfax) - Ozon marketplace on Tuesday announced the launch of sales in Mongolia.

According to the company's press release, residents of the country can now order over 90 million products across various categories.

Delivery will initially require up to 10 days, and orders can be picked up at the offices of state-owned Mongol Post.

Mongolia is the ninth country outside Russia where Ozon is developing its marketplace.

Natalia Boer, head of Ozon CIS, said that entering the new market would provide Russian retailers with a new channel for expanding their business geography.

Ozon has been expanding its business in neighboring countries since 2021. The company is currently present in Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan. Ozon is also developing its business in China and Turkey.
