Belorusneft oilfield services subsidiary completes first hydraulic fracturing at field in Western Siberia

MINSK. Aug 31 (Interfax) - BN-Nefteservice, Belorusneft's oilfield services subsidiary, has completed the first hydraulic fracturing operation at a field in Western Siberia, the Belarusian company's press service reported.

BN-Nefteservice, which made a name for itself on the oilfield services market in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District in 2025, has launched a new hydraulic fracturing service, thus marking an important milestone in the branch's development by bolstering its position as a comprehensive provider of technological solutions for the Russian oil and gas industry," the press service said.

"The new entry into the Russian hydraulic fracturing market comes eight years after completing work in the southern region for RN-Krasnodarneftegaz LLC and Stavropolneftegaz LLC," the press service noted.

Hydraulic fracturing was performed at well No. 723 at the Metelnoye field. The client was Yangpur.

"The team intends to expand the range of services provided significantly in the near future. Service is scheduled to be launched at RN-Yuganskneftegaz LLC fields in September. By the end of the year, 77 hydraulic fracturing operations should be completed in the region," the company said.

Founded in 1966, Belorusneft explores and develops oilfields, drills wells, as well as produces oil and associated petroleum gas in Belarus, and operates in the oil sector in other countries.
