Russia-Belarus trade consistently growing - Mishustin at meeting with Lukashenko

MOSCOW. Aug 28 (Interfax) - Russia-Belarus trade has been consistently growing, and the growth has reached 12.5% within five months, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

"We have checked the entire bilateral agenda of the Union State and the issues related to the Eurasian Economic Union with my counterpart, Alexander Genrikhovich Turchin. I should say that our trade has been consistently growing. It grew 12.5% within five months and I am hoping to improve its structure by growth rates," Mishustin said.

Russia and Belarus have numerous industrial cooperation projects, he said.

"I am aware of your personal attitude to that. So, we have lots of plans related to industries, manufacturing one way or another," Mishustin said.

The digital agenda, electronics, and the mutual recognition of electronic signatures are on the table, he said.
