Kazakhstan restores oil production to stable levels after decline due to attacks on CPC - energy ministry

ASTANA. Aug 28 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan has now restored oil production to stable levels, after it decreased due to incidents on the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC), the Kazakh Ministry of Energy told Interfax.

"At present, the country's oil production remains on a stable level and no decline in oil volumes is being observed," the ministry said in response to an enquiry from the agency.

The ministry said that "oil production at large fields was below target due to the suspension of shipments to the CPC" in July.
