Russian govt considering reducing fiscal, administrative burden on companies investing in protecting infrastructure sites

MOSCOW. Aug 27 (Interfax) - Representatives from ministries and large businesses discussed possible support measures for companies who are investing in protecting their sites at a meeting chaired by Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov on Wednesday.

The topic of the meeting was "increasing the level of protection of production and infrastructure sites as part of the review of proposals from Russian Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP)".

"Participants discussed the measures proposed by the RSPP for protecting enterprises from various types of threat and supporting the stability of companies who have suffered damage. Specifically, they discussed the possibility of reducing the fiscal burden on companies investing in protecting their sites, as well as diminishing administrative barriers for these organizations," the press release of the Cabinet of Ministers says.

It said that the meeting had been attended by representatives of federal authorities, the biggest industrial enterprises and industry organizations.
