Eurasian Economic Commission extends anti-dumping duty on leaf springs from China for 5 years

MOSCOW. Aug 25 (Interfax) - The board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has extended the anti-dumping duty on leaf (bow) springs and springs form them originating in China until August 24, 2031, inclusive, the EEC's trade bloc said in a statement.

The duty is 14.11% of the customs value.

The EEC said that it reached the decision following a repeat anti-dumping investigation based on a complaint from Chusovoy Metallurgical Plant, and supported by Beloretsk Spring Plant and Ressora Scientific and Production Company.

Chusovoy Metallurgical Plant, a subsidiary of United Metallurgical Company (OMK), is Russia's largest spring manufacturer. The company produces over 4,000 types of spring products for domestic and foreign vehicles and special equipment.
