Russia's Agriculture Ministry forms task force on rerouting agro exports

MOSCOW. Aug 25 (Interfax) - Russia's Agriculture Ministry has formed a task force to develop operational solutions to reroute freight flows and eliminate logistical constraints to export agricultural products, the ministry said.

Deputy Agriculture Minister Maxim Borovoi has been appointed to head the task force that includes representatives of the regions, industry associations, as well as federal executive bodies, the ministry said.

"The key objective is to ensure the timely sale of grain and oil and fat products and develop supply routes that account for the current logistical constraints. The most efficient routes will be determined for each region as based on geography and transportation economics," according to the statement.
