St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange holds first sales of imported gasoline
MOSCOW. Aug 20 (Interfax) - The St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (SPIMEX) held the first sales of imported gasoline on Wednesday, with fuel brought to Russia from abroad sold with the delivery point at Kola in the Murmansk region.
According to the review of SPIMEX's National Exchange Price Agency, "at the current trading session, automobile gasoline AI-92 (AmSpec Certificate) with the basis of Kola station (FSCO) was sold. The sold amount totaled 360 tonnes, and the price was 105,000 rubles/tonne."
SPIMEX's press service confirmed that this concerns the sale of the first batch of imported fuel.
As reported, from June 1, 2026, a damper on imported gasoline began to operate in Russia.
