Kyrgyz companies reach agreement with CNPC on supplies of petroleum products from China
BISHKEK. Aug 19 (Interfax) - Representatives of Kyrgyz companies have signed agreements with China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) on supplies of petroleum products to Kyrgyzstan, the Kyrgyz government's press service said on Wednesday.
The signing took place following a meeting between Kyrgyz Deputy Prime Minister Erlist Akunbekov and CNPC General Director Luo Yizhou, held as part of Akunbekov's working visit to the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China.
The amounts of intended supplies are not specified.
The main focus during the meeting was on the procedures for supplying fuel and lubricants from China to Kyrgyzstan through the company Kunlun Logistics, which is part of CNPC, the press service said.
