Capital investment in Kazakhstan rises 7.7% in 7M

ASTANA. Aug 17 (Interfax) - Capital investment in Kazakhstan rose 7.7% year-on-year to 11.46 trillion tenge in January-July 2026, the National Statistics Bureau said.

Industry received 41.6% of the investment, of which the mineral extraction sector 14% and manufacturing 14.7%. Real estate received another 18.6% of total investment, transport and warehousing 17% and agriculture, forestry and fisheries 5.7%.

Expenditure on machinery, equipment, transport and repairs grew 29.8%.

Businesses provided 7.77 trillion tenge of the investment with large enterprises investing 3.49 trillion tenge.

The budget provided 14% of the investment, 67.7% was funded internally, bank loans financed 5.6% and other borrowed funds 12.7%, of which non-residents 3%.
