Kazakh oil exports to China via Atasu-Alashankou down 18.3% to 98,000 tonnes in July - company

ASTANA. Aug 14 (Interfax) - Kazakh oil exports to China via the Atasu-Alashankou oil pipeline fell 18.3% year-on-year to 98,000 tonnes in July 2026, Kazakh national pipeline operator KazTransOil told Interfax.

"Kazakh oil exports to China via the Atasu-Alashankou pipeline in July 2026 stood at 98,000 tonnes, which is 22,000 tonnes less than in July 2025," the company said in response to the agency's query.

The transit of Russian oil via this route reached 870,000 tonnes, up 27,000 tonnes from July 2025, the company said.

KazTransOil JSC, part of National Company KazMunayGas, owns and operates oil pipelines of over 5,200 km in length. The company also services over 5,000 kilometers of oil pipelines belonging to third parties.
