Sixteen drones attack Russia's Salavat industrial zone, 5 target logistics center near Ufa - authorities
UFA. Aug 13 (Interfax) - Over 20 drones have attacked the Russian inner republic of Bashkortostan, including 16 downed over the Salavat industrial zone and five targeting a warehouse complex in the Chishmy district, republic head Rady Khabirov said on Max.
"As to details of the drone attack on the republic, there were 21 drones in all, including 16 downed in Salavat. The others targeted a logistics center in the Chishmy district," Khabirov said.
Two people were injured in the attack. Both were hospitalized and given full medical assistance, he said.
"A fire is being fought, and our Kamov Ka-32 firefighting helicopter is there, too," Khabirov said.
A fire at a facility in Bashkortostan was reported earlier with the reference to the Wildberries-Russ joint company. "Fire teams are working at the scene. The facility was evacuated in advance, consistent with safety requirements," the company said. No goods were stored at the facility.
