Russia boosts yeast exports 7% to 23,000 tonnes in H1 - Agroexport
MOSCOW. Aug 6 (Interfax) - Russia increased yeast exports 7% year-on-year to over 23,000 tonnes and 8% in value terms to almost $45 million in the first half of 2026, the Agroexport federal center told Interfax, citing expert estimates.
The main buyers were Uzbekistan with imports of over $6.3 million, Saudi Arabia with over $4.5 million, Belarus with over $3.1 million, Kazakhstan with over $3 million and Iraq with over $2.6 million.
Agroexport said that the exports had hit a record in the period. The previous all-time high was above 21,600 tonnes for over $41.6 million in H1 2025.
