Central Bank of Armenia retains refinancing rate at 6.5% pa
YEREVAN. Aug 4 (Interfax) - The board of the Central Bank of Armenia at meeting on Tuesday retained the refinancing rate, or discount rate, at 6.5% per annum, the regulator said in a statement.
The refinancing rate of 6.5% pa has been in effect since December 16, 2025, when the CBA cut it by 25 basis points.
Armenia had inflation of 3.3% in 2025. Annual inflation reached 5.1% in June 2026.
