Russia increases revenue from rusk exports 19% to $25 mln in H1 - Agroexport

MOSCOW. Aug 4 (Interfax) - Russia increased exports of rusks and croutons 19% year-on-year to $25 million and 9% in weight terms to 8,700 tonnes in the first half of 2026, the Agroexport federal center reported, citing expert estimates.

The top five biggest buyers were Kazakhstan with over $14.7 million of imports, Belarus with over $4.6 million, Kyrgyzstan with over $1.3 million, Tajikistan with over $737,000 and Azerbaijan with over $566,000.

Russia also exported rusks and croutons to Libya this year, for the first time since 2021.

It exported the products to over 50 countries.

As reported, Russia exported over 20,000 tonnes of rusks, croutons and similar fried products in 2025, an increase of 9% since 2024. Revenue from these shipments increased 28% to almost $52 million.
