Russia increases ice cream exports 27% to almost 10,000 tonnes in H1 - Agroexport

MOSCOW. July 30 (Interfax) - Russia exported almost 10,000 tonnes of ice cream in the first half of 2026, a 27% increase year-on-year, while revenue from these exports grew 18% to $43 million, the Agroexport federal center told Interfax, citing expert estimates.

The main buyers were Kazakhstan, which imported over $12 million, Uzbekistan with over $9.5 million, Belarus with around $8 million, Mongolia with over $3 million and Abkhazia with around $2.5 million.

Overall, Russia has exported ice cream to more than 50 countries this year, including Senegal, Ecuador, India, the UAE and several others for the first time.

As reported, Russia's ice cream production decreased 7.5% to 517,000 tonnes in 2025 from 559,000 tonnes in 2024.
