Emir of Qatar, Rosneft CEO discuss energy cooperation
MOSCOW. July 29 (Interfax) - Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held a meeting with Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin, Qatar News agency reports.
"During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations in the field of energy and ways to develop them," it said.
Qatar's QH Oil Investments LLC is a major Rosneft shareholder with an 18.46% stake. Two Qatari representatives serve on the Russian oil company's board of directors.
