EU sanctions AFK Sistema
MOSCOW. July 24 (Interfax) - PJSC AFK Sistema has been added to the EU sanctions list, it follows from a publication on the EU Official Journal.
AFK Sistema is 49.2% owned by Vladimir Yevtushenkov, who is already on the sanctions list. Another 15.3% is held by his son Felix Yevtushenkov, who is the corporation's senior managing partner, also sanctioned by the EU.
AFK Sistema "considers the European Union's decision unlawful, unfounded and profoundly unjust", AFK Sistema Press Secretary Ivan Makushok said.
He said that the company would continue to carry out its obligations, protect the interests of its employees, shareholders and partners and work for the good of Russia's residents.
