Aliyev, Merz sign Azerbaijani-German declaration on strategic relations

BAKU. July 21 (Interfax) - Azerbaijan and Germany have signed a joint declaration on a strategic agenda for bilateral partnership.

The document was signed by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz following talks in Berlin on Tuesday, Azerbaijani media reported.

The declaration is designed to solidify the strategic nature of Azerbaijani-German relations.

In addition, Azerbaijan and Germany signed a declaration establishing a business council.
