IMF approves disbursement of new $690 mln tranche to Ukraine - statement
WASHINGTON. July 21 (Interfax) - The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has approved a new tranche for Ukraine as part of the ongoing loan program.
The IMF Executive Board completed the first review of Ukraine's 48-month Extended Fund Facility (EFF) arrangement, enabling a disbursement of a loan tranche of about $690 million, the IMF said in a statement.
The latest funding brings total disbursements under the program to $2.2 billion.
This tranche is part of the new $8.1-billion 48-month EFF arrangement for Ukraine approved by the IMF in late February 2026.
