Positive trend unfolding in Azerbaijani-Russian economic relations despite global economic difficulties - Azerbaijani FM
BAKU. July 17 (Interfax) - A positive trend has been unfolding in Azerbaijani-Russian relations despite current difficulties in the global economy, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said.
"I am confident that today we can also have a detailed discussion of trade and economic issues, an important element of which is regular contacts in the interstate commission that held its 24th meeting in April this year. In this context, we believe that the trend between our countries has been generally positive despite all the difficulties experienced by the global economy," Bayramov said at a meeting with the Russian Foreign Minister in Moscow on Friday.
He said he intends to discuss interaction in the areas planned for the near future at the talks.
The Azerbaijani side plans to discuss the entire range of regional and global affairs of mutual interest with the Russian counterparts, Bayramov said.
