KazTransOil boosts oil transportation 3% in H1 2026
ASTANA. July 15 (Interfax) - JSC KazTransOil (KTO) boosted oil transportation 3% year-on-year to over 22.9 million tonnes in H1 2026, KTO's press service reported on Wednesday.
"The company's main pipeline system transported 22.911 million tonnes of oil in the reporting period [H1 2026], which was 643,000 tonnes more than in the same period last year," according to the statement.
Oil transportation to oil refineries in Kazakhstan amounted to 8.8 million tonnes in January-June 2026, including 2.766 million tonnes supplied to the Atyrau Oil Refinery, 2.533 million tonnes to the Shymkent Oil Refinery, 3.197 million tonnes to the Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant and 310,000 tonnes to Caspi Bitum LLP.
In total, 5.095 million tonnes of oil were pumped through the Atyrau-Samara pipeline section (+0.8%) and 5.885 million tonnes through the TON-2 pipeline section located on Kazakh territory (+0.7%), the press service said.
Transshipment of 5.702 million tonnes of oil into the Atasu-Alashankou main pipeline was carried out, which exceeds the previous year's figure by 236,000 tonnes (by 4.3%).
A total of 9.757 million tonnes of oil were transported through the pipeline system of Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP (+1.6%).
Pumping through the SZTK MunaiTas LLP pipeline amounted to 3.183 million tonnes of oil, which is 273,000 tonnes more than a year earlier.
JSC KazTransOil is an operator of main oil pipelines. It is part of KazMunayGas Group. It has a pipeline network with a length of 5,200 km and provides operator services for the maintenance of pipelines of third-party organizations with a total length of more than 5,000 km.
