Central Bank of Armenia again keeps refinancing rate at 6.5% per annum
YEREVAN. June 16 (Interfax) - The Central Bank of Armenia's board decided to keep the refinancing rate at 6.5% per annum on Tuesday, according to a statement from the regulator.
The rate of 6.5% has been in effect since December 16, 2025, when it was lowered by 25 basis points.
Inflation in Armenia amounted to 3.3% last year. In May 2026, annual inflation in the country was at 4.2%.
