Kazakhstan plans to produce 98 mln tonnes of oil in 2026 - Energy Ministry

ASTANA. June 10 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan expects to produce 98 million tonnes of oil in 2026, Kazakh Energy Minister Erlan Akkenzhenov told reporters.

"We plan to produce 98 million tonnes [of oil] this year accounting for the shutdowns at the Tengiz field and the attacks on the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC)," Akkenzhenov told reporters on the sidelines of the lower house of parliament.

Akkenzhenov had previously forecast production at 96-98 million tonnes of oil in 2026.
