Putin says important to build new icebreakers

MOSCOW. June 8 (Interfax) - The United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) should do everything it can for work on the Leningrad and Stalingrad icebreakers does not stop, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"Everything possible should be done to continue our work on the two icebreakers that you mentioned, the Leningrad and the Stalingrad. And of course, the plans for implementing the Lider project must carry on," Putin said at a meeting with USC CEO Andrei Puchkov.
