Vladmorrybport launches new container service with Chinese port of Rizhao

VLADIVOSTOK. May 29 (Interfax) - Vladivostok Marine Fishing Port (Vladmorrybport), a stevedoring company at the Port of Vladivostok, is launching a new regular container service, the Pacific Bridge Shipping Line, that will connect the eastern Russian port with the Chinese port of Rizhao in Shandong province, Vladmorrybport said.

The service will have two voyages per month, with the first scheduled to set sail from Rizhao on June 4 and arrive in Vladivostok on June 9. The line will be operated by a container ship with capacity for 620 TEU that will carry containerized and refrigerated cargo.

With the launch of the new service, Vladmorrybport will have 15 marine lines, including two cabotage runs. The main lines run to China, South Korea, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam.

Vladmorrybport operates a universal cargo handling complex, cargo traffic through which slumped 5% to about 5 million tonnes in 2025, including 340,000 tonnes of fish products and 317,000 TEU of containerized cargo.

Vladmorrybport data showed that the company's principal shareholders at the start of 2026 were Moscow-based Geoteks LLC with 51.9% and former Vladmorrybport CEO Alexander Yevdokimov with 47.69%.

The Vladmorrybport Group includes the stevedoring company, as well as refrigerated facilities in Vladivostok, Nakhodka and Elektrougli, Moscow Region.
