Shoigu calls for minimizing meddling in bilateral trade
MOSCOW. May 27 (Interfax) - Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu has called for minimizing external interference in bilateral trade.
"External interference in bilateral trade, settlements, and investments must be minimized," Shoigu said at the third meeting of the security council secretaries in the Central Asia-Russia format on the sidelines of the International Security Forum.
"We have quite enough potential for this, as our trade last year approached $50 billion," Shoigu said.
"Russia stands ready to act as a stable transit and logistics partner and work together to develop the North-South corridor and other mutually beneficial routes," he said.
"There are ample opportunities for this now," Shoigu said.
