Trade between Kazakhstan, Russia could exceed $30 bln in 2026 - Russian ambassador
ASTANA. May 26 (Interfax) - Trade between Kazakhstan and Russia could exceed $30 billion in 2026, Russian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Alexei Borodavkin said.
"We should cross the $30 billion mark in our mutual trade this year, and it is possible to forecast this," Borodavkin said during an interview with Rossiya 24 TV.
Borodavkin also said that the joint project portfolio comprises 177 important industrial, energy, and other projects, as well as initiatives, and projects, valued at $52.7 billion.
As previously reported, trade between the two countries exceeded $28 billion in 2025.
