Krasnoyarsk territory planning to build industrial park for mining industry costing 5 bln rubles, seeking coinvestors

KRASNOYARSK. May 21 (Interfax) - The Krasnoyarsk territory is planning to build an industrial park, Voskhod, in the Yemelyanovsky district, the press service of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation autonomous non-commercial organization said.

The 25-hectare industrial park is to be built 5 kilometers away from Krasnoyarsk's international airport. This project aims to bring together production facilities and infrastructure, promoting cooperation links for the development and production of equipment for mining companies.

"Investments in building the park will be around 4.5-5 billion rubles. The design work is scheduled for this year and the building work for the park is to begin in 2027," Voskhod project manager Sergei Popov said.

The potential residents of the Voskhod park are expected to be companies specializing in metalworking, semi-knocked down (SKD) equipment assembly, the production of lighting, switchboard and conveyer equipment, industrial automation systems and IT solutions, the servicing and repair of industrial machinery, logistics services, cargo transportation and more. The main requirement for residents is that they adhere to the park's profile and are willing to cooperate with other residents.

The press service of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation said that coinvestors would be able to apply for state support measures, for example, subsidies to reimburse part of the costs of creating, modernizing and reconstructing industrial park infrastructure.

It has been reported that Krasny Yar, another industrial park in the Krasnoyarsk territory which unites metalworking and engineering enterprises, will begin commissioning the second phase of facilities in 2027.
