Ukrainian hryvnia reference exchange rate declines to all-time low, nearing UAH 44.2/$1 - NBU
MOSCOW. May 20 (Interfax) - The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on May 20 set the hryvnia-dollar reference rate at UAH 44.1955/$1, weakening the national currency by almost UAH 0.05 from Tuesday and setting a new all-time low, Ukrainian media reported citing the NBU.
The previous low was recorded on March 13, when the NBU set the hryvnia-dollar reference rate at UAH 44.1858/$1.
Since the beginning of 2026, the hryvnia-dollar reference rate has weakened by 4.7%, while the official rate has declined by almost 4.3%.
