Dmitriev welcomes extension of Russian oil sanctions relief

MOSCOW. May 18 (Interfax) - Russian Special Presidential Representative for Investment and Economic Cooperation Kirill Dmitriev has welcomed the extension of a relief from sanctions on Russian oil.

"The latest - third - extension of the lifting of the sanction restrictions on Russian oil has become a positive signal for global energy markets and energy security," Dmitriev said on his Telegram channel.

"Global energy security is impossible without Russian energy sources," he said.
