MOSCOW. May 18 (Interfax) - Russia remains a reliable supplier, while China is a responsible consumer of energy resources amid the Middle East crisis, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said.

"Russia still remains a reliable supplier, and China remains a responsible consumer of energy resources amid the crisis in the Middle East," he told reporters before Russian President Vladimir Putin's official visit to China.

Partnership in the sphere of energy is a locomotive of economic cooperation between the two countries, he said.
