Kazakhstan's international reserves grow 2.6% in April, 2.5% in 4M

ASTANA. May 14 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan's international reserves, including the National Bank's gold and foreign currency reserves and the assets of the National Fund, stood at $132.6 billion at the end of April 2026, the National Bank said in a publication.

International reserves were at $129.18 billion in March and $129.31 billion at the end of 2025. As such, they increased 2.6% in April and 2.5% since the beginning of the year.

The assets of the National Fund increased 4% in April to $64.82 billion.

The gross international reserves of the National Bank grew 1.5% to $67.78 billion compared with the previous month, including $15.09 billion worth of currency assets, up 0.5%, and $52.69 billion of gold reserves, up 1.8%.
