Belarus lowers minimum export prices for certain dairy products to Russia

MINSK. May 7 (Interfax) - The Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry has revised the minimum prices for certain types of goods sold under foreign trade contracts.

According to a resolution of the Agriculture and Food Ministry published on Thursday on the National Legal Internet Portal, as of May 7, the minimum price for export of low-fat and fat-free cheeses for melting to Russia has been set at 295 Russian rubles per kilogram (previously, it was 345 rubles).

At the same time, prices have been raised for the export of a number of other dairy products to foreign markets, excluding Russia.

Condensed milk and cream, whether they contain or do not contain added sugar or other sweeteners, in powder, granules or other solid forms and with a fat content not exceeding 1.5%, cannot be sold to countries other than Russia for less than $2.8 per 1 kg (previously, it was $2.6).

At the same time, the price for the Russian market has not changed, remaining at 235 Russian rubles per 1 kg.
