Central Bank of Armenia again keeps refinancing rate at 6.5% per annum

YEREVAN. May 5 (Interfax) - The board of the Central Bank of Armenia decided to keep the refinancing rate at 6.5% per annum on Tuesday, the regulator said in a statement.

The rate of 6.5% has been in effect since December 16, 2025, when it was lowered by 25 basis points.

Inflation in Armenia was 3.3% last year. In March 2026, annual inflation in the country stood at 4.5%.
