Vladivostok, Yichang airports to develop passenger services
VLADIVOSTOK. April 13 (Interfax) - Vladivostok International Airport and the international airport in Yichang, in China's Hubei province, have signed a cooperation agreement, the Russian airport's press service reported.
"The document is aimed at jointly developing air services between Vladivostok and Yichang," the press release said.
Charter flights from Vladivostok to Yichang are currently operated by Yakutia Airlines.
Vladivostok International Airport CEO visited Shanghai during a business trip to China, where he and management company Aerodinamika held talks with the management of China Eastern Airlines, one of China's largest carriers.
"The representatives of China Eastern Airlines confirmed their interest in opening a flight program to Vladivostok and Sochi," the airport said.
The Vladivostok airport served 3.26 million passengers in 2025, 10% more than in the previous year.
